The internet has created a paradigm for some virtual interactions but it still fails to truly engage the user beyond the screen or gadget. Webpages and computers lack distinctive physical experiences. Broadcast media remains even less engaging, not even demanding the user leave the couch to change the channel on the television. Thus, we have identified three main problems associated with broadcast media today:

1. The content does not go beyond the screen

2. Interactions and information flow only occur in one direction

3. There is no personalization. Content is static.

 This project focuses on the design and implementation of embedded systems which offer:

1. Novel designs for interaction amongst the devices and amongst humans using the devices.

2. New manufacturing techniques and materials which enable intuitive and unencumbered physical experiences.
